Dear Juice Lovers,
I started this lovely Sunday morning by making this energizing, tasty green juice. I think it has a great balance of flavors and is packed with nutrients that will detox your body. Let me know what you think of it!
This recipe is for two servings:
Head of romaine lettuce
3 stalks of kale
4 stalks of celery
3 large handfuls of spinach
1 organic lemon
1 inch piece of peeled, fresh ginger
Step One: juice your greens first
Step Two: Now juice the cucumber, celery and apple; finish it off by juicing the lemon and ginger.
- Cucumbers are made up of 95% of water which helps to hydrate the body and fight inflammation.
- Full of antioxidants, Vitamin C, Vitamin K (good for kidney health and helps build strong bones!)
- Has Vitamin B-complex, which help ease anxiety and stress.
- Helps digestion because cucumbers are packed with fiber and it contain potassium, which helps lower blood pressure.
Your juice should look something like this, before stirring it.
