Metabolism Kick Juice

Hi my juice lovers,

First of all, thank you for liking and sharing my last juice post! It gets me so excited knowing that my blog is starting to take off :)

This morning I created this recipe for a new green juice and I absolutely love it.  I was looking for something to kick my metabolism into high gear; after all, the higher your metabolism, the more energy you have & more weight you will lose.  On that note, here’s the recipe!

3 handfuls of spinach

4 stalks of kale (with ribs on them)

4 stalks of celery

1 apple

1 lime

1 inch piece of peeled ginger

Step One: juice your greens first




Step Two: juice the apple, lime and finally, the peeled ginger.


Why juice limes?

  • Limes are full of potassium, which helps maintain nerve function and blood pressure.
  • Packed with vitamin C and minerals, that are vital for a healthy immune system
  • Works to decrease bacteria in the body that can lead to bacterial infections
  • It helps produce collagen which is important for healthy skin! There are many facial products that have lime as a dominate ingredient; however it is even better for your skin to juice your veggies :)

Your juice should look something like this immediately after juicing.
