First of all, thank you for liking and sharing my last juice post! It gets me so excited knowing that my blog is starting to take off
This morning I created this recipe for a new green juice and I absolutely love it. I was looking for something to kick my metabolism into high gear; after all, the higher your metabolism, the more energy you have & more weight you will lose. On that note, here’s the recipe!
3 handfuls of spinach
4 stalks of kale (with ribs on them)
4 stalks of celery
1 inch piece of peeled ginger
Who needs coffee when you can get a juice kick? 😉
Step One: juice your greens first
Step Two: juice the apple, lime and finally, the peeled ginger.
Why juice limes?
- Limes are full of potassium, which helps maintain nerve function and blood pressure.
- Packed with vitamin C and minerals, that are vital for a healthy immune system
- Works to decrease bacteria in the body that can lead to bacterial infections
- It helps produce collagen which is important for healthy skin! There are many facial products that have lime as a dominate ingredient; however it is even better for your skin to juice your veggies
Your juice should look something like this immediately after juicing.
