I hope you’re all enjoying your summers and are keeping healthy! There is so much great produce out and is season right now, for example: cucumber, beets, tomatoes, strawberries, carrots, rhubarb, peaches, melon, lemon.. and the best of all, watermelon
Watermelon is 92% water, detoxes your body from harmful free radicals, is packed with potassium, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, copper, zinc, Vitamin B and iron. This summer fruit helps with sore muscles, lowers blood pressure, is great for weight loss and is an ant-inflammatory!
Lycopene is the reason for the gorgeous red of watermelon pull. This antioxidant has many benefits, most notably: shield your body from free radicals that may damage the cardiovascular system and lower heart disease risk. Lycopene protects your skin from ultraviolet light damage and skin cancer.
The more you let the watermelon ripen the more the health nutrients you get out of it. You can get all of the benefits equally from either juicing the watermelon or eating it
